MONTHLY REPORT:

CARP LAKE (updated 2nd August 2005)

Last week saw another big fish landed, a 33lb common again caught on the A&M Baits crab boilies. In general the larger fish have been playing hard to get during the changeable weather, with most being caught off the top. Warmer conditions should see more larger fish coming out, particularly off the surface.

Night fishing is available to book but a £10 deposit per person per night now stands for weekend reservations. Please leave a message on 01767 317835

Also please note that we have an automatic gate which opens between the hours of 6am and 7.30pm. No further entry on to the site is possible after 7.30pm although you can get out. This hopefully makes the fishery more secure for both us and the angler.

WINTERS SPECIMEN CARP LAKE: (updated 2nd August 2005)

More anglers are now choosing to fish this lake for the chance of catching specimen carp. A total of 6 20's were caught last weekend including a 26lb mirror landed by Paul Fairey. Best baits are sweetcorn stringers or A&M boilies.

Night fishing can be booked on this lake but is limited, please ring and leave a message on 01767 317835.
