Carp Lake Report for w/c  2nd October 2010

Another 30lb fish has been caught today weighing in at just over 31lb. It was caught using fake sweet corn in a relatively non fished area of the lake. Multiple 20lb fish have been caught this week up to around the 25lb mark. Also there has been plenty of couple figure fish. Generally the main baits that are producing the goods are fish flavoured boilies such as spicy shrimp and prawn, squid 2t and halibut pellets. Again, the mainline baits continue to produce well, mainly cell and fusion. The final bait of the week is sweet corn, it may be getting cold but it’s still working as well as ever. One method the bailiffs recommend is trying to stay away from other anglers and perhaps fish those spots that not many people usually fish as this is producing the bigger carp!
