Anyone found breaking these rules will be asked to leave and banned from the fishery and possibly prosecuted.

Rules Which Apply To All Lakes
Barbless hooks only
Maximum 2 rods
Unhooking mat required
Dip all nets before fishing
No keepnets, except in authorised matches or on the Canal
All fish caught MUST be returned to the lake they were caught from. Under no circumstances must fish be killed or moved to other lakes.
No unauthorised vehicles around the lakes. Disabled blue badge holders only with prior permission. No cars including disabled around the Blunham Lake due to lack of access.
Cars must only be parked in car parks
Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Under 18’s can night fish when accompanied by an adult
Under 8's must be accompanied by a non-fishing adult or fish from the same swim as the accompanying adult. They must not wander off unsupervised.
E A Rod Licence required
Strictly no guns
No wading or swimming in the lakes under any circumstances.
No dogs, even on leads. Sorry.
No Litter, bins are provided in the car parks.

Specimen Lakes: Carp, Becks & Winters
Barbless hooks only, maximum size 6
Maximum 2 rods
No mainline braid
Unhooking mat required & min 36" landing net
Dip all nets before fishing
No peanuts, tiger nuts or trout pellets
No keepnets

Blunham, Canal & Damsel
NB: Damsel is only open for coarse fishing between 1 Jun and 30 Sept
UNFORTUNATELY THE BLUNHAM LAKE IS NOT SUITED TO DISABLED ANGLERS WHO NEED TO TAKE THEIR CARS AROUND THE LAKE AS THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THIS LAKE IS TOO NARROW TO SAFELY MANOEVOUR CARS WITHOUT DAMAGING RODS / POLES OR TURN CARS ON. THIS IS A HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURE.
